The Vice President will be a key member of the Strategic Principal Investments team at Citi, focusing on specialty lending, asset-backed finance, and private credit technology. This role requires a blend of investment judgment, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management to assess and create value for Citi through investments. The successful candidate will work closely with various senior stakeholders across multiple functions to evaluate and manage investment opportunities. The position demands a high degree of autonomy and the ability to navigate complex financial landscapes.

• 6-10 years of relevant professional experience in investment, corporate development, or related fields.
• Transaction experience across sourcing, evaluation, financial modeling, and portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of financial services, particularly in specialty lending and fintech.
• Ability to analyze asset performance and credit risk.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Source and evaluate new strategic investment opportunities aligned to Citi’s priorities.
• Develop and maintain investment theses and convert them into actionable plans.
• Lead or support the full transaction lifecycle, including financial analysis and risk assessment.
• Prepare clear investment committee materials articulating strategic rationale and financial case.
• Manage a portfolio of existing investments, including performance reviews and risk assessments.
