The Quality Engineering Senior Automation Developer at Citi is responsible for participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs. This intermediate level position focuses on applications systems analysis and programming activities within the Technology team. The role emphasizes the importance of delivering secure, reliable, and efficient services while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Ideal candidates will be innovators who can work independently and contribute to the overall success of the team.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques and methods
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Experience in BDD/TDD and Cucumber framework development
• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins
• Hands-on experience in API testing tools like Postman or SOAPUI
• Understanding of deep learning fundamentals, RAG, and LLMs
• Experience in API development and integration of models through APIs
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, and risk technology.
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
• Provide user and operational support on applications to business users.
• Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems and provide evaluations.
• Recommend and develop security measures in post-implementation analysis of business usage.
• Consult with users and other technology groups on issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes.
• Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts.
• Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy in decision-making.
• Act as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and team members.
