Job description
The Hardware Operations Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring that engineering teams have the necessary hardware configurations to develop and validate new camera capabilities. This position involves coordinating hardware needs across global supply partners and internal teams, while also forecasting demand and identifying constraints. The role requires collaboration with supply chain partners and camera engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of hardware. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Prior experience in a lab or hardware operations environment
- Deep understanding of Apple's device ecosystem and hardware configurations
- Experience coordinating across global supply chain and internal operations teams
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Experience with forecasting, capacity planning, and resource allocation
