Job description

This position involves designing and developing software solutions using object-oriented programming languages, primarily Java. The role focuses on building REST-based microservices and working with cloud platforms such as AWS. The engineer will be responsible for developing resilient messaging services and ensuring comprehensive testing and documentation. The position requires collaboration across multiple projects and initiatives within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or a Master’s degree in a similar field.
  • Three years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer designing and implementing REST APIs using Spring Boot and .NETCORE, or one year of experience with a Master's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Develop original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts.
  • Design applications or subsystems on major projects across multiple platforms.
  • Develop applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
  • Support and perform all phases of testing leading to implementation.
  • Assist in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
  • Establish project plans for projects of moderate scope.
  • Perform independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.
