Job description
This role is part of the Silicon Engineering team focused on developing and manufacturing next-generation graphics processors. The position involves ensuring that Apple products can efficiently handle complex tasks, contributing to the design and validation of GPU workloads. You will collaborate with various teams globally to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in Apple GPUs. This impactful role requires a strong foundation in graphics rendering and architectural validation.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in a relevant field.
- Excellent C/C++ programming skills.
- Experience with GPU APIs like Metal, OpenGL, DirectX, Vulkan, or CUDA.
- Knowledge of key graphics rendering algorithms.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the software graphics pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Develop critical workloads for GPU validation including architecture, functionality, performance, and power.
- Collaborate with GPU hardware teams from design bring-up through post-silicon to identify and debug issues.
- Work with GPU software teams during production driver bring-up to resolve software issues.
- Create bit-accurate C/C++ models for hardware verification.
