Job description

This position involves analyzing business requirements and developing web-based applications using various technologies such as Java, Angular, and Node.js. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer.
  • Alternatively, a Master’s degree in a related field and three years of experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and developing large-scale, multi-threaded applications using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
  • Experience in developing online retail brokerage account transaction processing systems and scalable microservices using Node.js.
  • Proficiency in Test Driven Development (TDD) and using testing frameworks such as JUnit and Jest.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in architecture design teams and define application-level architecture.
  • Develop applications on complex projects and components for the division.
  • Recommend development testing tools and review test plans.
  • Ensure QA readiness of software deliverables and develop comprehensive documentation.
  • Establish full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
  • Advise on risk assessment and management strategies for projects.
  • Plan and coordinate project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
  • Act as a primary liaison for business units to resolve project and technology issues.
  • Mentor junior team members and perform complex technical analysis for multiple projects.
