Job description

The Senior Strategic Program Leader will drive the transformation of Yield and Defect Engineering in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role focuses on integrating AI-driven innovation and program execution to enhance productivity and operational excellence. The leader will shape strategies for defect metrology and yield engineering systems while ensuring alignment across various teams. This position is pivotal in embedding data and automation into daily operations to improve yield learning and cycle time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing with expertise in yield engineering, defect metrology, or process integration.
  • Experience leading AI/ML transformation initiatives in semiconductor or adjacent high-tech industries.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technical outcomes to cost, cycle time, and revenue impact.
  • Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional programs in high-volume manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a multi-year strategy for Yield and Defect Engineering, integrating AI/ML and automation into core workflows.
  • Lead enterprise-level programs to transition from reactive analysis to predictive yield management systems.
  • Champion the deployment of AI solutions to enhance defect detection and root cause analysis.
  • Oversee yield performance across development and high-volume manufacturing, ensuring alignment to targets.
  • Build and lead a high-performing, diverse organization, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
