Job description

The Analytics Manager will lead a team within the Strategic Data Solutions (SDS) group, focusing on combating fraud, waste, and abuse in the Wallet, Payments, and Commerce environment. This role emphasizes fostering a data-driven culture, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement in fraud prevention strategies. The manager will combine technical and analytical skills to innovate fraud mitigation approaches and ensure the team scales effectively. The position requires navigating ambiguity and making informed decisions to guide the team towards success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in data science, analytics engineering, or similar technical analytics roles.
  • 2+ years of experience leading and mentoring data-focused teams.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or R.
  • Strong analytical background in applying data science techniques to extract insights.
  • Experience working with large-scale data pipelines and conducting data analysis in production-level analytics platforms.
  • Ability to connect insights to business outcomes and influence strategy.
