The senior software engineer role in AWS Commerce Platform focuses on solving complex engineering challenges in distributed systems at scale. Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
- 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
- Experience as a mentor or tech lead for an engineering team
- 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Work on challenging engineering problems in distributed systems at a massive scale.
- Collaborate with motivated teams and provide guidance in defining the engineering roadmap.
- Own the design, development, testing, deployment, and operation of secure systems handling confidential billing data.
- Regularly review architecture, code, test plans, project plans, and operations to ensure excellence.
