This position is for an experienced Software Development Engineer within the AWS Marketplace team, focusing on solving complex scale problems and evolving the service to meet customer needs. The role involves owning significant portions of the product and influencing strategy by defining new product features and system architecture. Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and operations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Own significant portions of the product and influence strategy for new features and architecture.
- Solve challenging scale problems to evolve the AWS Marketplace service.
- Work on complex system software and leverage AI tooling and Spec-Driven Development.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality software and operational excellence.
- Communicate effectively in both business and technical contexts.
