Job description

Amazon is looking for a talented Embedded Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced robotics systems. This role involves designing, implementing, and launching robotics End Effectors while working alongside multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in firmware development and a strong background in embedded systems. Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
  • 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
  • 8 years of full embedded software development life cycle experience
  • 5 years of development experience within an embedded environment or with robotic systems
  • 5 years of experience developing embedded C applications using an RTOS and embedded Linux environments
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • 10 years of full embedded software development life cycle experience

Responsibilities

  • Author functional requirements, design verification plans, and test procedures
  • Execute product designs that meet the specified requirements
  • Build and test electromechanical subsystem prototypes and integrated systems
  • Support product releases to manufacturing and customer deployments
  • Work efficiently to support fast-paced schedules
