Job description
The CMMS Engineer will serve as a system master expert within Amazon's data center region, focusing on designing, developing, and deploying innovative solutions to operational challenges. This role involves collaborating with diverse teams to ensure the accuracy of asset data and enhance maintenance processes. The engineer will also be responsible for training local teams and driving global processes within the EAM platform. Candidates should have experience in data center environments and a passion for improving operational excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- 3+ years of experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in a data center or other critical environment
- Experience in requirement gathering and writing clear requirement documents
- Experience with SQL Server/MySQL or NoSQL databases and programming/scripting languages such as Batch, VB, PowerShell, Java, C#, Chef, Perl, Ruby, or PHP
- Experience in business intelligence and analytics
- 3+ years of experience as a maintenance planner/scheduler in industrial maintenance or manufacturing/distribution industries
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Setup and maintain site asset data through Hexagon EAM
- Ensure asset details are captured accurately to match digital records
- Align and schedule maintenance within the CMMS application with corresponding teams
- Perform routine data scrubs and identify and correct anomalies
- Continuously look for ways to automate and enhance processes
- Plan and conduct training and workshop sessions for large audiences within the organization
