Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation/Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in technical program management and automation engineering.
- Experience leading the specification, development, and implementation of automated manufacturing equipment.
- Experience working with design teams early in the hardware lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Influence product definition and architecture selection in collaboration with product design teams.
- Generate detailed functional requirements specifications for various automated assembly operations.
- Partner with manufacturing and automation equipment providers to design and qualify cost-effective automated solutions.
- Develop automation implementation schedules and provide technical oversight during factory acceptance testing.
- Manage cross-functional programs with global teams to ensure factory readiness and successful product delivery.
