Job description

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Conveyance Engineer to join the Resilience Water Team in Orlando or Jacksonville, Florida. This role focuses on developing sustainable solutions to address water issues such as quality, scarcity, and management. The position offers opportunities for rapid growth and collaboration with experienced professionals in the field. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and creative, contributing to impactful projects in the municipal water market.

Requirements

  • 8 or more years of experience in engineering and consulting, primarily related to the municipal water market.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Florida or the ability to gain a license within 1 year of hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Lead tasks and projects from planning to design and construction of Water/Wastewater distribution/collection systems.
  • Perform complex engineering analyses and design calculations.
  • Develop design and construction documents including reports, technical memoranda, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Perform Hydrologic and Hydraulic modeling using a variety of software.
  • Support construction administration of projects.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-discipline teams.
  • Serve as Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager on projects based on experience.
  • Assist in the development of scopes of work and budgets.
  • Travel up to 20% for project site visits, client meetings, and construction oversight.
