Job description
The CMMS Engineer role at Amazon involves serving as a system master expert within the data center region. The position requires designing, developing, and deploying innovative solutions to operational challenges while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. The engineer will support local data center teams with asset collection, maintenance schedules, reporting, and training. This role also includes driving global processes and ensuring the accuracy of mission-critical data in the EAM system.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
- 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, or 3+ years of facilities management experience
- 5+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
- 2+ years of data-driven business operations processes experience
- Experience in business intelligence and analytics
- 2+ years SQL Server database query and reporting experience using ETL, data warehouse, and SSAS/SSRS tools
- Working knowledge in EAM equipment hierarchy, object coding and naming convention
Responsibilities
- Own the process from start to finish with deploying the EAM platform in the data center region
- Support local data center teams with asset collection and maintenance schedules
- Drive global processes and document development as part of the global EAM team
- Act as the gatekeeper for mission-critical data in EAM, ensuring accuracy and report quality
- Develop systems enhancement modules of core and advanced modules to meet business requirements
- Travel 20% of the time when launching new locations
