Job description

The Senior Software Development Engineer in Test will join NVIDIA's Confidential Computing team within the Enterprise SWQA team. This role focuses on feature development, automation, and validation infrastructure, utilizing AI tools to solve complex challenges. The engineer will develop and maintain a robust test infrastructure for Compute software releases across various platforms. The position emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and the continuous improvement of testing capabilities.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Engineering or equivalent experience with 8+ years in the software testing development cycle.
  • Solid understanding of embedded systems, Linux, Python, C, and C++.
  • Experience with Hypervisors and a focus on cloud infrastructure or platform security.
  • Proven experience with AI tools for automation and test plan development.
  • Strong technical skills in orchestration and automation systems, data centers, and cloud architecture.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodology and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge in cluster management and developing test strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop test plans and orchestrate testing for Compute software releases on new architecture platforms.
  • Create a robust test infrastructure that incorporates advanced AI tools to enhance testing capabilities.
  • Improve code coverage and elevate the quality of the codebase and testing processes.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify new features and lead automation implementation.
  • Build and operate key pieces of the automation framework infrastructure.
  • Focus on improving customer experience by enhancing usability and performance.
  • Test software functionality and run regression tests for existing features.
