Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a Solutions Architect in Data Center Infrastructure to join the Infrastructure Specialists team. This role focuses on planning and deploying AI data centers, ensuring the integrity of NVIDIA's platform infrastructure. The architect will work on various aspects of data center operations, including power distribution, cooling systems, and network architecture. The position requires collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-performance data center solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in enterprise and/or hyperscale data centers with continual infrastructure deployment experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in the data center stack, including power distribution, liquid cooling, servers, networking, and storage.
  • Demonstrated technical and project leadership under fluid situations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teams to plan and implement data center infrastructure solutions based on NVIDIA's reference architecture.
  • Manage the deployment of NVIDIA's AI infrastructure solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Conduct pre-deployment planning and identify potential risks.
  • Evaluate infrastructure design proposals for consistency with industry standards.
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of compute systems.
  • Establish and enforce quality assurance processes for deployments.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data center infrastructure efficiency.
  • Collaborate and communicate across internal teams, external vendors, and customers.
