NVIDIA is looking for a Solutions Architect in Data Center Infrastructure to join the Infrastructure Specialists team. This role focuses on the planning, deployment, and validation of data center infrastructure to ensure it meets NVIDIA's standards. The architect will work on various systems including power distribution, cooling, and networking to support the deployment of AI infrastructure. The position requires collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful implementation and operational acceptance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in enterprise or hyperscale data centers with infrastructure deployment experience.
- Working experience in data center operations or infrastructure management roles.
- Hands-on experience with hardware break/fix and RMA workflows.
- Experience building processes and playbooks from scratch.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to plan, schedule, and organize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to plan and implement data center infrastructure solutions.
- Plan and manage the deployment of NVIDIA's AI infrastructure.
- Review cluster and data center architecture and plan network port mapping.
- Evaluate customer and partner infrastructure design proposals.
- Lead physical troubleshooting and drive clusters to full operational acceptance.
- Oversee vendor and partner management for deployment and remediation.
- Establish and enforce quality assurance processes for deployments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for data center infrastructure efficiency.
- Collaborate across teams and serve as a domain expert for infrastructure inquiries.
