Job description

NVIDIA is seeking Applied Research Interns to join the Nemotron post-training team, focusing on developing and optimizing AI algorithms for deep learning models. The role involves working on next-generation software like NeMo-RL and contributing to open-source projects. Interns will have the opportunity to publish their project results and work in a diverse and innovative environment. This position is ideal for those passionate about natural language processing and deep learning.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a MS or PhD degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Masters students with a good publication record will be considered
  • Excellent Python programming skills
  • Strong knowledge in Deep Learning for Natural Language Processing
  • Experience with PyTorch or JAX
  • Ability to work independently
  • Attention to details and ability to manage large sets of experiments

Responsibilities

  • Develop and prototype new algorithms and models for AI model post-training
  • Contribute to open-source projects such as NeMo-RL
  • Contribute to the next version of Nemotron models
  • Publish your internship project results
