Job description

The Senior HPC Support Engineer – Ethernet / AI Infrastructure will engage with a prestigious customer both onsite and remotely, focusing on data center and networking technologies. This role involves providing comprehensive solutions for installations, maintenance, and operations of advanced networking products. The engineer will act as the primary contact for the customer, spending time at their site to address technical questions and resolve issues. Collaboration with various teams is essential to ensure high customer satisfaction and effective problem resolution.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in providing in-depth customer support and debugging for hardware and software products.
  • An academic degree in Networking, Computer Science/Engineering, or Electrical/IT or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated use of established AI technologies in daily job responsibilities.
  • Established knowledge of enterprise platform and systems engineering, particularly in Linux triage.
  • Intellectual curiosity, positive attitude, flexibility, and strong analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve sophisticated customer concerns and technical issues through meticulous research and problem-solving.
  • Respond to customer product support inquiries via telephone, email, or conference calls.
  • Resolve customer issues during installation, operation, maintenance, or product application.
  • Participate in multi-functional team meetings and provide feedback to engineering and marketing.
  • Develop and document standard methodologies for internal support processes and improvements.
