Job description

Join Apple's dynamic Product Operations team as a technical lead for a product line, where you will oversee the Operations technical team during the development and high volume production of next generation products. This role involves close collaboration with multiple multi-functional teams to ensure product success. You will serve as the senior technical advisor, partnering with Engineering throughout the development lifecycle to achieve operational success. Your contributions will help Apple continue to innovate and create extraordinary products.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Quality experience in New Product Introduction, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, or Reliability Engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Optical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • Master's or PhD in Mechanical, Electrical, Optical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience partnering with off-shore manufacturers and high volume production.
  • Strong statistical and data analytics skills, including statistical process control and sampling methods.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional Operations technical teams during product development and high volume production.
  • Partner closely with Engineering throughout the lifecycle of development.
  • Enable operational success through to mass production.
  • Program manage functional engineering teams including Mechanical, Electrical, and Test Engineering.
  • Utilize data forensics to solve complex manufacturing assembly quality issues.
