The Apple Services Engineering (ASE) Security team is looking for an experienced Security Engineering Program Manager to manage and scale their Foundational Security team. This role involves driving programs that protect Apple's server infrastructure through security authorization and access controls. The position requires collaboration with various engineering teams across Apple to ensure the seamless adoption of security frameworks. The ideal candidate will thrive in ambiguity and possess a strong understanding of security architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience in Engineering Project Management, Technical Program Management, or Partner/Customer Engineering.
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional software engineering projects from inception to delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to drive product or framework adoption among technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to both engineering teams and executive leadership.
- Direct experience working with engineering teams to roll out programs and security campaigns intended to uplift operational security.
- Experience working in a 'Partner Success,' 'Developer Relations,' or 'Forward Deployed Engineering' capacity.
- Familiarity with IAM, Security Frameworks, Scalable Solutions.
Responsibilities
- Drive the adoption of a custom-developed Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution utilizing Open Policy Agent (OPA).
- Act as the connective tissue between security engineering teams and partners to ensure a frictionless integration experience.
- Establish the playbook for the rollout of security frameworks and technologies across the organization.
- Influence and collaborate with colleagues across Apple to enhance security measures.
- Manage the rollout of critical security frameworks and ensure their seamless adoption at scale.
