Job description

The Digital Software Engineer Lead Analyst at Citibank will focus on establishing and implementing financial application systems for personal banking. This role involves leading the design of data strategies and developing scalable software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The engineer will apply advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques to derive insights from large datasets. Additionally, the position includes overseeing end-to-end software development projects and ensuring the integration of machine learning models into enterprise systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
  • 4 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or related position developing banking applications.
  • 4 years of experience with Java, Python, Spring Boots programming, and Microservices implementation.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Data Science tools including numphy, pandas, scikit learn, langchain, and langgraph.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement financial application systems and programs for personal banking purposes.
  • Lead the design and implementation of data strategies that align with business goals.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and business stakeholders to deliver software solutions.
  • Design, develop, and validate machine learning models to solve business problems.
  • Conduct Automated Test-Driven development and support user acceptance testing.
  • Translate complex data insights into easy-to-understand dashboards and visualizations.
