Job description

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing and Quality Control
  • BS/MS in Material Science or Engineering such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
  • Experience developing process quality plans and conducting supplier quality audits
  • Working knowledge of material science, metallurgy, and mechanical quality concepts
  • Experience in a metals manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as SEM, EDX, and FTIR

Responsibilities

  • Travel internationally to supplier sites up to 30%
  • Drive corrective actions and failure analysis efforts
  • Develop and evaluate measurement systems
  • Utilize problem-solving tools including design of experiments and root cause analysis
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met
