Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing and Quality Control
- BS/MS in Material Science or Engineering such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
- Experience developing process quality plans and conducting supplier quality audits
- Working knowledge of material science, metallurgy, and mechanical quality concepts
- Experience in a metals manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with analytical tools such as SEM, EDX, and FTIR
Responsibilities
- Travel internationally to supplier sites up to 30%
- Drive corrective actions and failure analysis efforts
- Develop and evaluate measurement systems
- Utilize problem-solving tools including design of experiments and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met
