The role focuses on architecting and developing AWS solutions using advanced technologies like LLMs and security frameworks. The team aims to integrate security seamlessly into the development lifecycle, ensuring developers can ship secure code efficiently. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with security experts and influence security culture across a major business unit.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop innovative security automation tools that leverage Generative AI technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with security engineers and software development teams to provide guidance on secure coding practices.
  • Conduct code reviews, identify potential vulnerabilities, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest software development and security trends in Generative AI and application security.
  • Design and implement preventive and detective security systems that enable developers to ship secure code continuously.
  • Build reusable security libraries, tools, and frameworks that serve as paved paths for developers.

Benefits

  • Employees at Amazon are often offered comprehensive health benefits—including multiple medical plan options (no pre-existing condition exclusions, 100% covered in-network preventive care), dental and vision plans, a 24/7 medical advice line from day one, expert second-opinion services, and broad mental-health support with several free counseling sessions (including pediatric). Financial wellness typically includes a 401(k) with company match (up to 2%), Restricted Stock Units (equity), FSAs, an emergency savings program, product and partner discounts, and even college-savings and home-purchase programs. Overall, the package is designed to support employees and their families’ health, finances, and day-to-day life.
