Job description

The Business Solution Analyst is a strategic professional responsible for driving business impact through effective product design and market launch efforts. This role requires strong communication and diplomacy skills to influence stakeholders and ensure alignment across teams. The analyst will work closely with both business and technical stakeholders to address complex requirements and enhance user experiences. The position is critical for maintaining compliance and safeguarding the firm's reputation while delivering innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in a product or creative position
  • Significant experience managing complex business and technical solutions
  • Demonstrated experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well and communicate clearly
  • Experience delivering with an agile methodology
  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Drive business impact by contributing to plan/product design, testing/piloting, and market launch efforts
  • Pre-empt issues and head off problems by ensuring cross line of business implications of the products are identified and resolved prior to the successful product launch
  • Understand the business objectives, user needs, and define UX goal scopes, and plan design activities for a project, end to end
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to solve complex business and technical requirements
  • Stay up to date on current events in the industry that affect Citi’s bottom line to keep products competitive
  • Challenge the current business as usual design standards and constantly look for improvement
  • Launch digital features across multiple channels and closely monitor, measure, and report on feature performance
  • Analyze performance data to identify opportunities to improve user experiences, increase conversion, and optimize efficiencies
  • Achieve stakeholder buy-in and lead cross-functional work streams
  • Communicate design and roadmap initiatives to outside groups
  • Convert ideas into basic wireframes to provide direction to UX and UI Designers
  • Negotiate and diplomatically manage conflicting points of view to ensure alignment and progress
  • Support different teams by facilitating team to team communication
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation
