Job description
The Software Engineer role in the Universal Media Engineering team at Apple Services focuses on building and managing the data platform that powers the Apple TV app. This team is dedicated to creating innovative products that enhance user experiences in media consumption. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building resilient, high-scale, distributed microservices in production environments.
- Proficiency in software programming with Java or another object-oriented programming language.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Spring Framework/Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL & NoSQL databases, and messaging systems.
- Proficient in algorithms and data structures.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience in stream processing and data processing tools and best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD and Cloud Environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
