Job description
Apple is seeking dedicated and innovative engineers to join a diverse team focused on system hardware development for audio products. Engineers will take ownership of designing PCBs, flexible circuits, and system validation plans while contributing to the future of AirPod architectures. Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 2+ years of relevant industry experience designing electronics and/or embedded systems.
- Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals including analog/digital design and signal/power integrity.
- Hands-on experience in prototyping, bring-up, debug, and validation.
- Experience with high volume products and consumer electronics from proof of concept to mass production.
- Expertise in board and flex designs including schematic and layout.
- Knowledge in areas such as CPU/SOC, power management, analog circuits, RF integration, and sensor design.
- Python or scripting experience.
- Excellent written skills for clear reporting of data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Drive product architectures and design PCBs and flexible circuits.
- Create optimized system validation plans and oversee manufacturing test requirements.
- Contribute to prototype bring-up and testing while analyzing data and troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including mechanical design and software organizations.
- Ensure high quality designs are delivered on time.
