Job description

This role involves performing functional verification of graphics logic components, including 3D graphics and display, to ensure compliance with design specifications. The position requires collaboration with GPU architects and RTL developers to enhance verification processes. The candidate will also document test plans and participate in technical reviews. Overall, the focus is on ensuring the functionality, performance, and power goals of complex graphics architectures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electronics, computer engineering, or related engineering with 4+ years of experience in silicon design development or a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in test bench bring-up at the IP level and strong programming skills in System Verilog, OVM, and UVM.
  • Hands-on verification experience working on ASIC, CPU, or GPU.
  • Experience in test plan development at the IP level with coverage closures.
  • Experience in coverage driven verification testbench development, functional modeling, and test writing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform functional verification of graphics logic components to ensure design meets specification requirements.
  • Define and develop scalable and reusable IP verification plans, test benches, and architecture for verification environments.
  • Execute verification plans and run system simulation models to verify design, analyze power and timing, and uncover bugs.
  • Replicate, root cause, and debug issues in the presilicon environment.
  • Collaborate with GPU architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to improve verification processes.
  • Document test plans and drive technical reviews with design and architecture teams.
  • Maintain and improve existing functional verification infrastructure and methodology.
