The AWS Serverless Storage team is looking for a skilled software engineer to develop a distributed in-memory data store aimed at high-throughput and high-volume data processing for big data analytics and AI workloads. This role involves building core features using Rust, optimizing performance, and managing microservices for cluster lifecycle control. Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems
- 1+ years of experience as a software development engineer or in a related role
- 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a large-data, high-performance distributed data storage system
- Develop services on EC2, ECS, or Kubernetes
- Develop system-level software using Rust and Java programming languages
- Build scalable infrastructure on AWS cloud platforms
