Morgan Stanley is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join their Capital Markets platform team in Alpharetta, GA. The role involves developing and maintaining software applications while ensuring high quality and adherence to best practices. The engineer will participate in all aspects of application development, from specifications to support. Telecommuting is permitted up to two days per week.
Requirements
- Requires a Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study.
- Requires two years of experience in the position offered or as a Software Developer or Software Engineer.
- Requires two years of experience with programming languages including Java, Python, C++, Scala, and JavaScript.
- Requires two years of experience with frameworks including SpringBoot, Pytorch, Tensorflow, Keras, JPA, LangChain, and LlamaIndex.
- Requires two years of experience with testing frameworks including Junit, Mockito, Postman, and Selenium.
- Requires two years of experience with automation and build tools including Gradle, Maven, Splunk, Harness, and Jenkins.
- Requires two years of experience with cloud technology including Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, and Snowflake.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications for Morgan Stanley's Capital Markets platform.
- Participate in all aspects of application development including functional and technical specifications.
- Ensure high quality of deliverables while enforcing software development best practices.
- Participate in steering and evolving engineering excellence.
- Develop individual modules that contribute to larger project deliverable goals.
- Identify system deficiencies and implement effective solutions.
