Job description
As a member of a small team of engineers at Apple, you will work on internal applications and services that are crucial for developing and delivering high-quality operating systems. The role emphasizes creating, maintaining, and improving applications that support the daily work of thousands of Apple employees. You will be involved in writing code, reviewing contributions, and designing technical solutions collaboratively. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential as you will interact with users and cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience building software in one or more modern programming languages such as Swift, Ruby, Python, or JavaScript
- Recent hands-on experience writing, deploying, and maintaining production code
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including system design and writing maintainable, testable code
- Experience working with distributed systems and with continuous integration and deployment
- Strong understanding of UX and UI design principles
- Experience leveraging LLM-based tools for developing and testing code
Responsibilities
- Iterate quickly to create, maintain, and improve applications for Apple employees
- Spend most of your time writing code and reviewing contributions from others
- Collaboratively design technical solutions with team members
- Engage with users and cross-functional partners to gather feedback and improve applications
- Adopt and adapt great technical or process solutions across projects
