The Siri team is focused on enhancing how users access information across Apple devices while prioritizing privacy. As a member of the Applied ML team, you will work on improving Apple Intelligence through advanced search techniques and result ranking. Your role will involve developing systems that enable Siri to answer personal questions while safeguarding user data. You will engage in the entire research and development lifecycle, contributing to the technical vision for Personal Question Answering.

• 8 or more years of industry experience in machine learning and natural language processing.
• Proficiency in software engineering using Python, Go, or C/C++.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow, or XGBoost.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Knowledge of training, evaluating, and deploying deep learning models.
• Experience building production machine learning systems in search or information retrieval.
• Background in search relevance, question answering, or user behavior modeling.
• An advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field is preferred.
