Job description
The Customer Service Engineer (CSE) role at KLA focuses on providing exceptional customer service by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex capital equipment at customer sites. The CSE will work closely with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and operational quality of the systems. This position requires strong technical skills and the ability to work in a cleanroom environment. The CSE will also collaborate with various teams to enhance customer production and maintain equipment performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of software, electronics, optics, and mechanical systems
- Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent timelines
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service support for a variety of advanced KLA products.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Evaluate, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical equipment problems at customer sites.
- Maintain and execute the Preventive Maintenance schedule on KLA tools.
- Repair and update equipment at customer sites, addressing complex system-level problems.
- Prepare Field Service Reports and document customer support activities.
- Cross-train and assist other field service engineers as needed.
- Conduct customer orientation and technical training on equipment maintenance.
