Job description

As a Product RF Design Engineer at Apple, you will be part of a hands-on team focused on delivering exceptional performance in wireless products. You will work on innovative technologies that shape the future of Apple products, applying your expertise in RF architecture, design, and integration. The role involves collaboration with various teams to optimize RF/Wireless functionality and support the transition from prototype to mass production. Requirements

  • BSEE or equivalent education is required.
  • Coursework or experience in antenna/RF design, wireless communications, EM, or circuits is necessary.
  • Experience in antenna design, including simulation and architecture investigation, is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with RF lab instrumentation is required.
  • Ability to debug desense issues and characterize noise sources is needed.
  • Experience with production environments and statistical analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Apply expertise in RF design from concept to final production.
  • Collaborate closely with wireless and software architects, industrial designers, and product designers.
  • Support manufacturing teams during the transition from prototype to mass production.
  • Utilize electromagnetic and system simulation to understand complex system interactions.
  • Conduct RF measurements and assess product design trade-offs.
