Job description
The role is part of the SEO team at Apple, responsible for shaping the voice of Apple products in organic search. The team aims to deliver a magical digital experience for customers shopping online. The position requires a hands-on leader who can inspire a high-performing team and advocate for their work across the organization. The focus is on driving business forward through effective SEO strategies and practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 9 years of experience with SEO for a global brand or digital agency
- 2+ years of experience directly managing SEO, technical marketing, or program management teams
- Experience with AIO, GEO, and AEO
- Solid experience managing complex and time-critical technical projects
- In-depth knowledge of the latest SEO best practices across all significant worldwide search engines
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Profound, seoClarity, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog
- 12+ years of experience with SEO preferred
- Experience working in the technology and/or e-commerce industry
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages
- Experience with emerging standards such as MCP, UCP, APC, WebMCP, and others
- Experience building or scaling an SEO function at a large, matrixed organization
- Track record of building diverse, inclusive teams and developing talent into future leaders
Responsibilities
- Shape the voice of Apple products in organic search to billions of people
- Build and inspire a high-performing SEO team
- Coach the team to conceive, plan, and deliver complex projects
- Build relationships across Apple to advocate for the team's work
- Ensure the SEO presence aligns with Apple's marketing quality standards
