The role is focused on providing advanced optical inspection systems for semiconductor manufacturing within KLA's Broadband Plasma Division. The team is dedicated to ensuring that chipmakers can efficiently ramp next-generation devices to production. Candidates will work alongside physicists, engineers, and data scientists to tackle complex problems in the semiconductor ecosystem. The position emphasizes innovation and collaboration to enhance product development and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Strong background in engineering or physical sciences with demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in optics, opto-mechanics, precision motion control systems, and computing hardware systems.
- Experience with scientific and statistical analysis tools such as Matlab, Python, and JMP.
- Familiarity with Zemax and other optical design software is a plus.
- Minimum qualifications include a Doctorate with no experience, a Master's with 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor's with 5 years of experience.
