Job description
The Electrical Engineer role at KLA focuses on Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) Design within a collaborative team in Ann Arbor. Candidates will work through all phases of project development, from defining requirements to debugging PCBAs in the lab. Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience as a PCBA Design Engineer with strong electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Proficiency in schematic entry and board layout, preferably using OrCAD and Cadence Allegro.
- Experience with lab tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
- Ability to work well in multi-functional and multi-cultural teams.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Define project requirements and solve engineering problems related to PCBA design.
- Characterize components and design/prototype analog front-end circuits.
- Generate schematics and define test criteria for safety and functionality.
- Coordinate PCB layout and debug PCBAs in the lab.
- Complete projects by testing PCBAs and releasing documentation to production.
