• 5+ years of relevant experience as a Printed Circuit Board Assembly Design Engineer, particularly with high-speed circuitry.
• Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering and physics, including analog and optoelectronics design.
• Ability to write specifications and documentation for project initiation and product release.
• Expertise in schematic entry and board layout, preferably using OrCAD and Cadence Allegro.
• Proficiency in lab environments with tools such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally based on business needs.

• Develop high-speed PCBA-based product features on KLA products, including FPGA circuits and PCIe interfaces.
• Solve engineering problems by characterizing components and PCB stack-ups, and debugging PCBAs in the labs.
• Define test criteria and implement test plans on functional prototypes to ensure reliability and safety.
• Propose and develop PCBA and subsystem qualification fixtures, modifying existing designs as needed.
• Collaborate with other groups to ensure seamless integration testing at the subsystem and system levels.
• Mentor and support junior electrical engineers in their development.
