KLA is seeking Associate Test Engineers Trainees for a 12-month program aimed at students pursuing an Associate's Degree. The role involves working in a collaborative environment focused on advanced technology in semiconductor manufacturing. Trainees will assist in testing and calibrating various electronic components while developing problem-solving skills. This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week during the summer and 20 hours during the school year.

• Some college education is required.
• Ability to work in a clean room manufacturing environment is required.
• Basic understanding of optics, mechanical, and electrical principles is helpful.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are necessary.
• Strong organizational skills and logical problem-solving abilities are required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office is expected.

• Assist with performing the set-up, calibration, and testing of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
• May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
• Work on complex assignments requiring independent action and initiative in problem resolution.
• Perform simple troubleshooting as needed.
