Job description
The Software Development Engineer role at Amazon Web Services (AWS) Outposts focuses on managing network routes and configurations for hybrid cloud solutions. Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and operations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Manage network routes that enable communication between Outpost and its associated AWS Region
- Perform transformations and validations on packets to and from the AWS Region
- Set up and manage network configurations and push them to other Outpost services
- Conduct packet inspections and manage the logical interconnect virtual router
- Support and maintain code in production, participating in code reviews and shipping code daily
