This role involves working on Kiro, an AI coding agent that enhances software development processes. Engineers will collaborate with talented individuals to solve complex problems at the intersection of AI and software engineering. Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Ship features that improve how developers work with Kiro
- Own critical systems and define technical direction for new capabilities
- Work across distributed systems and real-time streaming environments
- Design the context layer that enhances Kiro's understanding of projects
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of reliability and security
