• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with network routing protocols, design, and troubleshooting with network equipment providers.
• 2 years of experience leading the networking support strategy for a complex or novel product is preferred.
• Experience with planning and designing large-scale networks across multiple sites and products is preferred.
• Knowledge of real-time communications protocols such as WebRTC, QUIC, or MoQ is preferred.

• Support Beam deployments by working directly with internal and external network administrators to troubleshoot complex networking environments.
• Influence the engineering roadmap by providing consultation on real-world networking considerations.
• Drive the strategy for long-term support of customer networking needs, including defining testing and documentation approaches.
• Provide consultation on tooling best practices and development.
• Act as Beam's networking expert, providing consultation and education across the software organization.
