The role is part of the Pixel Device Performance Software team, which is responsible for performance management software and analyzing workloads. Engineers will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize system resources in the SoC. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, such as C.
• 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in lieu of 2 years of experience.
• 2 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.

• Work on the latest Pixel releases focusing on SoC bring-up, performance, and power efficiency.
• Review design and power management architecture for future SoCs.
• Develop new algorithms for improving Android workload efficiency.
• Profile and analyze critical user journeys to identify and improve performance and power efficiency for Pixel devices.
• Analyze the utilization of key components of the System on a Chip, including CPU and GPU.
