The Global Practice Architect for Security at Google Cloud is responsible for driving the strategy and execution of the Security Go-To-Market (GTM) approach. This role involves designing and managing the construction of GTM plays to achieve growth goals for the security practice. The architect will collaborate with various teams, including Solutions, Services, and Marketing, to ensure successful implementation of the strategy. Additionally, the position requires interfacing with customers to understand their needs and adapt offerings accordingly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in GTM planning or technical roles in Cloud Security in a customer-facing or support function.
- Experience in delivering GTM motions.
- Experience selling cloud products.
- Excellent presentation skills, and the ability to deliver a business and technical pitch to the C-Suite and Board levels.
Responsibilities
- Own the construction and implementation of GTM Security plays for your specific product portfolio.
- Drive strategic decision-making by leveraging analysis and insights to align GTM plans with company strategy.
- Support the design and implementation of integrated GTM Security blueprints across the full ecosystem.
- Oversee the GTM Security portfolio, continuously monitor business performance, and recommend new approaches based on data-driven insights.
- Conduct ongoing research and benchmarking to incorporate industry best practices and provide actionable insights.
