Job description

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will lead the design, optimization, and continuous improvement of complex manufacturing processes at our Jamestown, NY location. This role is 100% onsite and focuses on enhancing efficiency, quality, and safety in manufacturing operations. The engineer will provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and technicians while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align project objectives. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting high-impact issues and implementing advanced manufacturing technologies.

Requirements

  • A degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly engineering.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with advanced CAD/CAM tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC metal cutting and processing equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of assigned manufacturing projects.
  • Apply advanced manufacturing principles to design and optimize processes.
  • Drive continuous enhancements to manufacturing equipment and workflows.
  • Utilize continuous improvement methodologies to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.
  • Lead communication efforts with key business leaders and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
  • Provide advanced technical knowledge in manufacturing principles.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and offer coaching.
