Job description

The Full Stack Engineer for Support Experience at Stripe will focus on building and maintaining the technology that powers global customer support operations. This role involves collaborating with various teams to deliver reliable systems that support agents and merchants. The Case Resolution Platform team is responsible for case routing and live channels infrastructure, which includes voice and messaging. The position requires a strong emphasis on user empathy and a customer-centric approach to problem solving.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry software engineering experience
  • Native Mandarin fluency
  • Full-stack engineering experience with front-end proficiency in React and Ruby
  • Superb communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable working as a generalist across varying technologies and stacks

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain full-stack services and infrastructure for support agents.
  • Expand and deepen live channel integrations across Stripe's global support operations.
  • Debug and solve critical production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build new features at large scale.
  • Maintain open communication and strong connections with colleagues in a distributed team.
