Job description
The Commercial Strategy Analyst role at Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management focuses on supporting commercial initiatives that drive fundraising, client engagement, and collaboration across teams. Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of prior work experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Advanced facility with Excel, PowerPoint, and AI Tools
- Investor relations, investment banking, product management, or other private markets background is preferred
Responsibilities
- Support global alternatives fundraising campaigns working alongside product leads and client advisors in the region
- Facilitate fund targeting exercises and regular pipeline review meetings
- Track and analyze target lists and fundraising pipelines leveraging Salesforce and Dealcloud
- Support educational product trainings and distribution of fund toolkits
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of global platform materials including a multi-year fundraising strategy calendar
- Drive central updates across businesses to ACF, sales and investing leadership
- Partner with marketing team and sales leadership to ensure client events and conferences are commercially impactful
- Conduct competitive analyses and keep pulse on industry and LP trends
