The role is part of the Financing Group - Corporate Derivatives desk within Goldman Sachs' Capital Solutions Group. It focuses on providing hedging solutions related to inflation, interest rates, and foreign exchange for corporations and financial institutions. The team collaborates closely with Global Markets and Classic Investment Banking to develop tailored solutions for clients. This position requires strong analytical skills and a passion for finance and investment banking.
Requirements
- Strong academic record with a Bachelor’s or advanced degree is required.
- Prior relevant experience with Global Markets products and multinational corporations, preferably in foreign exchange.
- Quantitative and analytic reasoning and problem-solving abilities are essential.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
- Must be a team player with a strong interest in finance, investment banking, and foreign exchange.
Responsibilities
- Provide inflation, interest rates, and FX hedging solutions to clients.
- Prospect and onboard new clients to Goldman Sachs Corporate Derivatives.
- Propose and execute innovative ideas to manage existing derivatives portfolios.
- Utilize knowledge of corporate finance, derivatives, and capital markets.
- Prepare and analyze derivative pricing models and financial statements.
- Interact with clients and other groups at Goldman Sachs, including Trading and Credit desks.
- Prepare presentations and marketing materials.
