Job description

The role involves launching and implementing GenAI agentic solutions to enhance the management of large-scale production environments. The Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence team focuses on applying advanced machine learning techniques to reduce operational risks and costs. This position requires collaboration with production engineers and application teams to translate challenges into actionable AI roadmaps. The team emphasizes safety, reliability, and governance in their solutions.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in a computational field, with a Master's or PhD preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience as an applied data scientist or machine learning engineer.
  • 7+ years of software development experience in languages such as Python, C/C++, Go, or Java.
  • 3+ years of experience designing and launching production ML systems.
  • Practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications.

Responsibilities

  • Build agentic AI systems that combine retrieval, structured reasoning, and secure action execution.
  • Productionize large language models by implementing evaluation frameworks and retrieval pipelines.
  • Integrate agents with observability and incident management systems for automated diagnostics.
  • Collaborate with production engineers to define objectives linked to reliability and cost reduction.
  • Build validator models and enforce safety and governance checks in the AI stack.
  • Optimize cost and latency through prompt engineering and model routing.
  • Curate domain knowledge and maintain knowledge freshness through feedback loops.
  • Drive design reviews and mentor peers on agent architectures and evaluation methodologies.
